엑셀러레이트 코리아-베를린 (Accelerate Korea-Berlin) 1회 데모데이

 

 

대치동 구글캠퍼스 서울에서 엑셀러레이트 코리아-베를린 (Accelerate Korea-Berlin) 1회 데모데이가 열렸다.

이번 데모데이에는 스위즐, 고퀄, 멤피스벨, 마스터컴퍼니, 버즈아트, 시어스랩, 조커팩, 컨시더씨, 파킹나우, 아뵤, 메이븐스그룹, 04마스터 등 11개 스타트업의 서비스 프레젠테이션이 진행되었으며, 심사를 통해 5개 기업에게 베를린에서 3개월 동안 진행되는 엑셀러레이션 프로그램에 참가자격이 제공되었다.

특히, 이날 피칭에서 1위는 비캔버스 개발사인 조커팩이 차지했다. 조커팩이 서비스중인 비캔버스는 온라인 팀 협업툴로, 사용자들은 화이트보드 형태의 캔버스에 포스트잇과 같은 메모는 물론, 사진, 동영상, 음악 등도 자유롭게 기록할 수 있기에 동료에게 쉽게 공유할 수 있으며, 실시간으로 협업하는 것도 가능한 서비스다.

조커팩을 비롯해 시어스랩과 04마스터, 버즈아트, 컨시더씨 4개팀은 베를린에서 진행되는 해외 몰입 프로그램(Overseas Immersion Program) 등에 참가하게 된다. 베를린은 기술 부문에 매년 수십억 달러가 투입되는 유럽 벤처 캐피탈 (Europe’s Venture Capital) 커뮤니티의 주요 중심지이며, 유럽 신생 기업들을 유치하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 유럽의 유명 테크놀로지 및 기업이 본거지를 두고 있는 거점지역이다.

한편 암스테르담에 본부를 둔 초기 투자 기업인 아포라 벤처스(Apora Ventures) 주관, 창업진흥원 후원으로 진행되는 이번 엑셀러레이트 코리아-베를린 프로그램은 유럽 국가에서 사업을 런칭, 확장하고자 하는 한국 신생 기업을 위한 프로그램이다.
